Legalization and regulation of gambling in Slovakia
Gambling is allowed in the country and we can even say that it is organized at a fairly high level! Almost all forms of gambling have been legalized here since 1992.
Both land-based and online casinos are controlled by the Ministry of Finance. This ministry maintains a clear list of all gambling establishments and also issues licenses. All licensed operators in Slovakia pay a mandatory tax of 19% on the profits received for the provision of their services.
