Legalization and regulation of gambling in Thailand
All gambling except betting on horse races or government sponsored lotteries is prohibited in this game. This is stated in the Gambling Act of 1930. It bans over 120 card games. However, there are illegal casino gambling and other forms of gambling in Bangkok and some provincial cities.
