One of the giants of the British gambling industry, 1×2 Network, over the 15 years of its existence, has managed not only to gain credibility among operators, but also to become a partner of the world’s leading players. Today the company is writing a new page in its history and preparing for new achievements!
The history of development
The company was founded in 2002 in the UK and was originally called 1×2 Gaming. The following year after opening, they received a license from the UK Gaming Commission.
In 2017 there was a rebranding, the acquisition of Iron Dog Studio and LeapGaming and the addition of virtual football, casino games, slots and sports betting to the offer. In the same year, the company switched from Flash to HTML5.
Over the next few years, they actively expanded their presence in the market. The company appeared on the markets of Spain, Colombia and Sweden.
2020 has also been full of events. 1×2 has received a B2B license from the Malta Gaming Authority in addition to licenses from the UK, Gibraltar, Alderney and other jurisdictions. In the same year, they launched branded slots with Megaways mechanics, and their company Iron Dog won the Game of the Year category at EGR. Last year, the company managed to enter the markets of Denmark and Greece, which shows that it is going to move on!
Fun fact: despite the fame and authority in the gambling industry, the company remains private to this day and has a small staff. It does not exceed a few dozen people.
