In 1963, AB Restaurang Rouletter (the progenitor of NetEnt) was founded, and in 1968 the company began cooperation with AB Roulett Konsult & Spelautomater. In 1972, the company registered as Cherry AB and in 1996 NetEnt was finally founded.
NetEnt Casino was launched in 2002. The casino began supplying casino modules to customers and quickly became profitable, and in 2004 it began supplying casino modules to international customers.
2005 was an important year for the company as in that year it obtained a license from the Malta Gaming Authority and in 2007 it separated from Cherry AB and incorporated
on the NGM Equity exchange. In 2009, the provider was already included in the main list of the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
2010 was a fruitful year as the company not only released one of their most popular slots, Gonzo’s Quest, but also received an Alderney license. In 2011, she created her first mobile games and entered the Italian market.
